There have been quite a few interesting signings made on Day 2 of IPL 2022 mega auction but one player that caught everyone's attention on Sunday was Yash Dayal. A player, about whom not many were aware about, led to an intense bidding war in Bengaluru.
Royal Challengers Bangalore showed lot of interest in securing the signing of Yash, but he was eventually sold to Gujarat Titans for a whopping amount of Rs 3.2 crore. In a matter of few seconds, the social media was filled with comments where they wanted to know what was the special factor in the player, which got the teams so interested in him.

Well, it must be noted that Yash Dayal is an exciting left-arm pacer whose domestic exploits in recent times have earned him quite a reputation. The 24-year-old, who plays for UP has very impressive records, with 45 wickets in 12 first-class games, 23 wickets in 14 List A matches and 15 wickets in 15 T20 contests.
He recently took 14 scalps in 7 matches at Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021/22 and certainly impressed the scouts of a few IPL teams.

If the above trailer is anything to go by, Gujarat Titans have indeed got an exceptional talent within their ranks and under the leadership of Ashish Nehra, one could expect great things from Yash Dayal for the franchise in upcoming years of IPL.
