As the league stages in IPL 2021 were approaching towards an end, Mumbai Indians had a herculean task ahead of themselves in Abu Dhabi. Rohit Sharma's side needed to beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by a margin of more than 171 runs and they needed to post a huge total on board in order to have any chance. The onus was on the MI openers to provide them with an explosive start and this is exactly what happened in the first half hour of the contest.

It was the young pocket dynamo in form of Ishan Kishan who went absolutely berserk in Abu Dhabi. The left-handed batsman was given complete license to express himself against SRH as he smashed the bowlers all over the park in the powerplay. He looked in scintillating touch as he went on to hit a scintillating half-century, reaching the milestone in only 16 deliveries.
