Ahead of the 1st ODI between India and England in Pune on Tuesday, the fans witnessed a heartwarming moment before the match. Two debutants Prasidh Krishna and Krunal Pandya received their ODI caps before the start of play. While Krishna was certainly pleased, it was a slightly different case for Krunal who received the cap from his younger brother.
Krunal Pandya gets emotional
When Hardik Pandya presented the cap to Krunal, the 29-year-old kissed the Indian badge on the cap and looked towards the sky. While the all-rounder was being applauded by everyone, Krunal literally broke down after receiving a warm hug from Hardik Pandya. The elder brother would have broke down remembering about his late father, who passed away due to cardiac arrest two months back.

There's something in my eye: Jaffer
Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer was also quick to acknowledge the emotional moment shared between the two brothers. The 43-year-old put a post on Twitter and wished Krunal to do well on his debut.
Notably, Krunal Pandya became the 233rd cricketer to represent India in ODIs on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Prasidh Krishna received ODI cap No. 234.
