MS Dhoni and boundaries make for a fairytale love story. While the Master Finisher has finished several matches in his international and T20 career with fours and sixes, in an incident which would perhaps take him back to his gully cricket days in the streets of Ranchi, Dhoni himself searched for lost balls after hitting a few maximums. The incident happened during a recent net session at the ICC Academy in Dubai, where Dhoni is training along with his CSK mates ahead of IPL 2021 resumption. MS even involved his teammates in getting back the balls.

Along with Dhoni, Suresh Raina has also reached UAE and is getting ready for the remaining fixtures ahead. Both of them are the earliest to reach for the training as they are former international stars having quit the game on August 15, 2020. Earlier, Raina had even made a big statement with regards to his IPL career. The southpaw had said that if Thala Dhoni doesn't play IPL next season, he will also stop playing as he did with his international career.

Here is the video of Dhoni finding the ball himself:

The two will be central to CSK's plan of announcing their comeback in style. While Dhoni enjoys a stellar run with the Men in Yellow and has already led them to three IPL titles, last year a Raina-less CSK became the first team to get knocked out of the Playoffs Race. This year though they seemed to regain some of that lost mojo with Raina back in the team and Moeen Ali also adding a lot more balance to the setup.

With five wins from seven matches, Chennai are sitting comfortably in the top half of the IPL points table and they would hope that they can continue the same form into the second half. Other than his leadership, Mahi would love to contribute with the bat where he seems to be struggling in recent matches. After scoring 200 runs in the 2020 season in 14 matches, Dhoni managed just 37 in the 7 matches he has played so far in 2021. In fact, his last IPL fifty came in 2019- a record which he would like to amend in the remaining season.
