Ahead of the last hardcourt tournament in Cincinnati before the US Open begins, record 22-time Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal was spotted showcasing his football prowess in a practice session. The video of the Spaniard showing his football talent has surfaced on social media.

Nadal last played in Wimbledon quarter-final this year on July 6 before withdrawing from the tournament as he suffered an abdominal tear. He bowed out of the semi-final against Nick Kyrgios due to the injury as he desired to play the last major tournament of the year, US Open.

After his practice session, the World No. 3 tennis player displayed spectacular football skills as he is preparing for the Cincinnati Open 2022.

The 36-year-old tennis player took to his official Instagram handle to announce his participation in the Cincinnati Open 2022. He said, "Very happy to play again in Cincy. Flying there tomorrow."

Nadal is eyeing a comeback to tennis tournament with Cincinnati Open after he withdrew from Canadian Open due to the recovery of the same injury he suffered in the Wimbledon quarter-final against American Taylor Fritz.
