In the ongoing Road Safety Series final, Yuvraj Singh turned back the clock and hit a half-century to boost India Legends. Following the toss win, Sri Lanka Legends decided to bowl first. The Lankans then commenced the innings in style as they scalped Virender Sehwag's wicket in the third over. Next to take on to pitch was legend himself - Sachin Tendulkar. Master Blaster did start well and raised India's hopes, but was soon trapped by Maharoof, and walked back to pavilion. Following his wicket, India soon got another shock as Badrinath was captured for cheap by Sanath Jayasuriya.

The quick fall of wickets put India in trouble, and this is when Yuvraj Singh came onto crease. The Punjab stalwart, amid the pressure of falling wickets, not only completed his half-century, but also maintained the side's run-rate. The veteran went on to hit 4 sixes and 4 fours during his blazing 60-run knock off just 41 balls. Helped by Yuvi's knock India Legends scored 181/4 in their stipulated quota of 20 overs against the Sri Lanka Legends. Yuvraj was well-supported by Yusuf Pathan, who also struck 4 fours and 5 sixes during his blitzkreig knock.
