If there is one team who has impressed one and all at IPL 2022 mega auction, it has to be new-entrants Lucknow Super Giants. After drafting KL Rahul, Marcus Stoinis and Ravi Bishnoi, the franchise were brilliant on both days of auction to form a solid squad for the upcoming season.
The cricket fans credited the success of team's performance in Bengaluru to Lucknow's mentor Gautam Gambhir. The former KKR captain, who led them to 2 titles, was always going to be key for Lucknow during the auction and this is exactly what happened.

There were some sensational signings made by Lucknow Super Giants and everyone was full of praise for Gautam Gambhir, who was presumably the mind behind their picks, alongside head coach Andy Flower. People were happy that KL Rahul will finally have a solid squad behind his back to lead in IPL.
