India are currently taking on arch-rivals Pakistan in the final of Asia Cup 2025 at Dubai International Stadium. In an important clash, India opted to bowl first after winning the toss. However, the major concern for the Men in Blue is the absence of Hardik Pandya as the star all-rounder has been ruled out due to niggle. In his place, Shivam Dube is playing the role of a spearhead fast-bowling all-rounder and also bowled the first over of the match just like Pandya.
With Pandya missing the game, Shivam Dube turned out to be impressive in the first two overs he bowled as the right-arm pacer conceded only 12 runs on those 12 balls. Looking at his impressive bowling so far, the fans are heaping praise on Dube for taking the charge in Hardik Pandya’s absence.
Despite a great bowling by Shivam Dube so far, Pakistan got a good start as they have crossed 50 runs without losing a wicket. Sahibzada Farhan completed his second consecutive fifty against India as as he got out after scoring 57 runs offf 38 balls.
