Abhishek Sharma has had a forgetful start to the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. After going out for a duck in India’s curtain raiser against the United States, Sharma missed the game against Namibia due to a stomach illness. He returned to the side during the match against Pakistan and a lot was expected from him, but he failed yet again.
The Southpaw couldn't open his scoring and went out for another duck by the hands of Salman Agha. He is undergoing a rough patch and is yet to score a single run at the World Cup. Abhishek Sharma has been one of the most aggressive and explosive batters that India has seen in recent times.
