In the second match of the 19th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Ajinkya Rahane’s KKR got off to a flying start with both Ajinkya Rahane and Finn Allen scoring runs and boundaries with ease.
From ball one, the duo looked in sublime touch. The duo smashed bowlers all around the ground, making it really difficult for the captain and bowlers to control the boundaries.
Hardik Pandya, who bowled a really nice first over, giving just 4 runs, went for as many as 26 runs in the second over he bowled. Both Ajinkya Rahane and Finn Allen smashed the bowler all around the ground.
Rahane smashed him for two back to back sixes, and Finn Allen smashed him for boundaries and maximums, scoring as many as 26 runs.

With that, KKR was also able to score the fastest 50 runs against Mumbai Indians in the IPL. After Hardik going for runs, he brought their prime bowler Jasprit Bumrah into the attack - who also went for as many as 11 runs.
KKR managed to get their name on the power play, and surely looking to post good score on this wicket in Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Only a golden arm like Shardul Thakur could get rid of that partnership. Finn Allen, who was looking really good, lost his wicket in the final over of the power play, scoring 37 off the 17 balls.
