There have been some batters in T20I cricket who haven't really scored a single six in a significant innings, that's right, not even one single six during their 50-plus scores in the game's shortest or most entertaining format. And as one finds out, it appears as though, there is a new a brand new addition to the list of batters who have not been able to hit a single six despite scoring their highest individual T20I score.

The great batter is still counted, rightly so, among the best modern-day batters and his batting was a sheer delight - was it not?

Truth be told, Mohammad Rizwan, the ever committed and passionate Pakistan batter has been the one with a strong useful T20I record and his batting knows no bounds. Often unfortunately ridiculed for his lack of communication, something that is rather unfortunate given the way the culture of trolling works in this present day age of social media overload, it doesn't take a lot on Rizwan, however, to connect the ball once he gets going. He will be missed this time around in the Asia Cup 2025 T20I games. And rather interestingly, he hit a 78 not out against the Caribbean side in the year 2021. This didn't include a six.

Faf du Plessis' 79 not out against Bangladesh

10 years ago, Faf du Plessis scored a delightful and useful 79 and even emerged unbeaten against Bangladesh but that knock didn't have a single six. The last lion of South African batting, or so some fans would describe him, was actually saved from going away from his nation by none other than his close friend and confidant AB de Villiers. Faf has, in the years that have gone by, led South Africa valiantly and been their humble servant for international duties. It's rather sad that today, despite being fighting fit, he is not considered for national duties anymore.
