Michael Clarke predicts semi finalist of the T20 World Cup 2026

The former Australian captain predicts India, Australia, New Zealand, and England as his four semifinalists of the World Cup. Also, he predicts India and Australia will be in the final.

"Australia and India, I'm still picking for the final, of course. You know, Australia’s emotional connection—I always want to see them in the final. India is the favorite, in my opinion. I think they’re the best T20 cricket team right now,” he told RevSportz.

Additionally, Clarke also spoke about how he was expecting England and New Zealand to improve their game. He added, "I’d like to see England cricket turn things around. They were terrible in the Ashes. I was really disappointed. But I hope things turn around, at least for Brendon McCullum’s sake. I think that would certainly get a lot of the media off his back. But unfortunately, there are a lot of distractions at the moment in that England team, and I don’t think they’ll qualify for the top four. I hope I’m wrong.”

India is currently one of the strongest T20I sides in the world, led by Suryakumar Yadav. The team boasts an explosive batting lineup featuring batters like Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Hardik Pandya, and Shivam Dube. In bowling, India has options like Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, and Varun Chakravarthy.

Australia is also a good side, and when it comes to World Cups, they are a different beast. However, the team has lost its last T20I series to Pakistan by 3-0. On the other hand, England defeated Sri Lanka by 3-0 in their last T20I series, and New Zealand lost their last series to India by 4-1 in India.
