The last year's champions Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will look to continue the momentum, while the runners up Punjab Kings (PBKS) will look to clinch the title for the first time. Teams like Delhi Capitals (DC) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will look to have momentum throughout the tournament. Teams such as Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will look to bounce back in the 2026 season.
