Punjab’s franchise-based T20 competition is set to begin on August 30 which will have six teams and several India internationals in the league. The Sher-E-Punjab T20 League will run from August 30 to September 13, with all matches scheduled at the I.S. Bindra Stadium in Mohali. A total of 27 matches are planned out of which 24 in the league phase followed by three knockout matches. Most days will feature two fixtures with one in the afternoon at 2:00 PM IST and one in the evening at 7:00 PM IST. The six franchises are Mohali Kings, Amritsar Soormas, Ludhiana Lions, Bathinda Royals, Jalandhar Warriors and Fazilka Falcons.
Each team has a a marquee Punjab star including Ramandeep Singh (Mohali Kings), Abhishek Sharma (Amritsar Soormas), Arshdeep Singh (Ludhiana Lions), Gurnoor Brar (Bathinda Royals), Prabhsimran Singh (Jalandhar Warriors) and Shubman Gill (Fazilka Falcons). The fixtures for the 2026 edition have been released with the Final of the tournament set to be played on September 13.

Matches will be available live on Sony Sports Network and Sony LIV. The tournament follows a round-robin format in which each team plays eight league games before the top four advance to the playoffs. All players in the competition are from Punjab giving local talent the chance to share the field with established internationals. The schedule remains provisional and may see minor adjustments if the Punjab Cricket Association issues any official updates.
