He was into the job for four years having first been appointed as the head of global player and coaching development for the celebrated Victoria team in Australia back in 2022, and now after the flurry of some interesting achievements, David Hussey is no longer going to continue in his role. Former international Australian cricketer, David Hussey has decided to step down as the head of male Cricket as far as Victoria is concerned in Australia. On his watch, there was an interesting and necessary transformation as far as the men’s state team is concerned. His period as the head of Cricket development at Victoria was marked by impressive successes, a period of time in which, in which the team made it to 3 Sheffield shield finals, and one national Day final. However that was not without lifting silverware.
And if there is something that Victoria going to miss about David Hussey, the widely noted Former right hand of Australia, then it certainly the fact that he was able to galvanise the youth as far as Victoria was concerned and drop them too much needed success at the state level.
It was back in the month of September in 2022, when David Hussey came to be appointed in the role that he has played with pitch perfection. Victoria back then needed a fresh voice in the program. It was an exciting new global venture, as far as the Victoria team were concerned with Hussey in place. However, despite not being actively in the central spotlight role, David Hussey is going to perform a series of interesting Cricket Team initiatives that is going to further embolden and strengthen the Cricket enterprise in Australia, and where reports are concerned even in the territories off it.
So the big question is, how is that supposed to happen?
A series of Cricket academies are related to open in the city of Melbourne and in different parts of India, along with potential destinations in the USA that are still going to be discovered. All of this is going to happen with David Hussey playing some part of it.
