Former Indian cricketer and commentator, Kris Srikkanth, has taken a brutal take on the Delhi Capitals’ batter, Karun Nair. He urged the franchise to drop the 34-year-old at any cost. Notably, DC also drops the Karun in the match against the Punjab Kings, and they end up winning the game by 3 wickets.

Talking about the Delhi Capitals’ team combinations and mistakes this season, K Srikkanth said, "DC are producing Test match cricket and players by playing Karun Nair. He pleaded for one more chance to God, and DC are granting him that perfectly. Karun Nair should not be in the picture at all. Remove him from your team combination first."
"They have to play Harpreet Brar in the 11. They have to change their bowling combination. Even with the bat, their openers have failed in the last three matches. Also, Shreyas Iyer has not scored in the last three matches. That's where PBKS are getting caught out," said Srikkanth (via the aforementioned source).
"DC generally does well against PBKS. So, PBKS have to be careful as it's a must-win game for them. They are neither batting, bowling, nor fielding well in the last few matches. Notably, DC also dropped Karun Nair in the last match against the Punjab Kings, which they won by 3 wickets. While batting first, the Punjab Kings set the target of 210 in 20 overs for the Delhi Capitals, thanks to a wonderful innings from Priyansh Arya and Shreyas Iyyer. On the other hand, Delhi struggled in the start of the chase by losing KL Rahul, Abishek Porel, Sahil Parakh, and Tristan Stubbs early. After the collapse, Axar Patel and David Miller scored wonderful half-centuries to make a good comeback. In the end, Ashutosh Sharma and Madhav Tiwari finished the game for DC, as they won by three wickets.
