Former Indian pacer S Sreesanth in his latest interview with Lallantop channel issued an open challenge to former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh. However, this challenge was not about cricket but about fighting. Sreesanth asked Harbhajan to step into the ring if he has guts instead of being busy with ad shoots. The former pacer also blamed that Harbhajan has profited a lot from the 2008 incident and said he wants to settle these things on a ring. "This same scene, do you have the guts? Do you have the guts to come into the ring with me? Can you sign and come? I am asking him. Do you have the guts to come into the ring with me? Sreesanth who is involved with Bear Fight Knuckle League recently threw the challenge and has urged Harbhajan to settle this issue on the ring. He said ‘’I’m currently in the Bear Fight Knuckle League, I’m challenging you, Bhajji’’ he added.

"I am currently in the Bear Knuckle Fight League. I am challenging you, Bhajji. If you have this much of a problem with the slap thing and me, and you earn this much... let me earn too. Come into the ring. I am calling you from my heart. If we have some self-respect, let's not do ads and all that. In a genuine way, for all the Malayalis and all the Sardars, please come. I am waiting," he added.

Slap gate in 2008 IPL between Sreesanth and Harbhajan

This incident between Sreesanth and Harbhajan Singh happened in the inaugural IPL season in 2008. Harbhajan Singh who was representing Mumbai Indians slapped Sreesanth following a match against Kings XI Punjab. Images of a tearful Sreesanth went viral and was one of the most talked about moments of that season.
