Indian cricketers Hardik and Krunal Pandya were spotted together on Friday, and the pictures went viral immediately. After months of speculation about a possible fallout between the brothers, the two were spotted together after a long time, looking completely at ease with a familiar vibe that made the earlier drama feel overblown.

The rumours kicked off during IPL 2026 when Krunal celebrated a bit too enthusiastically after Hardik got out in the RCB vs MI game. Clips of that moment spread fast, and suddenly everyone was wondering if something was off between the siblings. Krunal shut it down pretty quickly though, saying there was nothing to it.

He has spoken about how close they still are and how much they lean on each other when it comes to cricket. In an interview Krunal Pandya said “Obviously, we have played together. We have always discussed cricket in terms of tactical, technical stuff which always helps. When your brother also plays the same sport, it always helps each other in a way,” He also mentioned how much he values the healthy cricket talks they share and how proud he is of everything they’ve done together.

Hardik Pandya has been out of action since IPL 2026 due to injury

The India all-rounder has not played a competitive match since the end of IPL 2026 after suffering a back spasm that forced him into rehabilitation at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. He had been making steady progress in his recovery, completing a week of high-intensity training, bowling sessions and match simulation drills as he closed in on a return to ODI cricket.

However, Hardik suffered a fresh setback a week later after developing a quadricep strain following mild soreness and stiffness during training. The injury ruled him out of the ODI series against Afghanistan and England, extending his wait for an ODI comeback since his last appearance in the format in 2025.

The latest injury is another frustrating blow for Hardik, who was on the verge of returning to competitive action before being sidelined once again. The BCCI medical team is expected to continue monitoring his rehabilitation as he works towards regaining full fitness and making his long-awaited return to the field.
