Good that whatever mistakes we are making are now- Harmanpreet Kaur
Harmanpreet Kaur opened up on India's third consecutive loss against South Africa. The Women in Blue suffered a nine-wicket loss to the Proteas Women in the third T20I on Wednesday, to fall into a 0-3 hole. In the series, Kaur scored 125 runs at an average of 62.50 and strike rate of over 156.
She opened up on the loss but put up a positive perspective suggesting that she is happy that they are making mistakes in the T20I series and not the World Cup. Kaur suggested that it would allow them ample time to rectify their mistakes and address their shortcomings. She said, “After the last T20 WC, we have won the maximum T20 series, this is the only one we didn’t execute the way we were in the last series.”
“I think it’s good that whatever mistakes we are making are now and not in the World Cup. This is the right time where we can learn and come back strong. As a captain I take everything in a positive way. We still have two matches and we can still put up a decent show,” Kaur added.
Notably, India will face South Africa in the fourth game of the series on Saturday, April 25.
