During his detailed appearance on the RCB Podcast, Virat Kohli addressed both the mechanics of his Ekana Stadium dismissal by Prince Yadav and the severe public backlash and online abuse that the young Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) pacer faced from toxic fans immediately after the match. During the podcast, Kohli broke down what he actually told Yadav and why he shared it. Kohli noticed Yadav's natural pace and intent during their first meeting. He explicitly told him: "If you get any help or movement off the deck, do not try variations. Just bowl a heavy, relentless off-length line. Trust your stock delivery to do the work.”

Kohli stated that senior players must pass down real tactical wisdom to younger Indian domestic fast bowlers to elevate the national pool. He joked that he didn't expect Yadav to apply it so ruthlessly against him just three weeks later. Kohli admitted he was genuinely flabbergasted on the pitch. He recounted asking LSG bowling coach Bharat Arun right after the match how a natural outswing bowler could snap back a 140+ kph inswinger off the seam so perfectly. Kohli laughed, calling it a "dream delivery" that completely earned the right to a massive celebration.

So I naturally can't go into a space where I say, "No yaar, you talk match and he needs the help." Do now. He is going to practice two hours later. He probably called me on the game once. You ask me something. Yeah, he bowled a great ball to me and I told him in those areas it's fine.

Virat Kohli slams internet users for trolling Prince Yadav

Immediately after uprooting Kohli's off-stump at Ekana Stadium on May 7, Yadav's Instagram comment section exploded. His comment count aggressively surged from 84 to over 18,000 within minutes, flooded with toxic vitriol from fanatical subsets of supporters. Online trolls heavily targeted Yadav, labeling his ecstatic, high-energy mid-pitch celebration as "disrespectful" to a senior international icon.

“ You know, people because they are so connected with the field like, "Oh he said that and didn't get out." No, look at this beautiful circle of cricket moment, which was a beautiful moment”, Kohli stated.

Kohli explicitly stated that franchise cricket thrives on intense competition and raw passion. He rebuked fans for crossing boundaries into personal harassment when a young Indian player is merely doing his job. He strongly defended Yadav’s celebration, asserting that a 24-year-old domestic fast bowler clean-bowling an international batsman has every single right to celebrate wildly. Kohli laughed off the irony of the dismissal, noting that he felt proud to see a fellow Delhi domestic player execute the "guru mantra" advice so perfectly on the big stage.
