2. Ruturaj Gaikwad

Ruturaj Gaikwad is really making a name for himself as a potential cornerstone in the middle order. With an impressive tally of 5,227 runs in List A cricket, he boasts an average of 59.39 and a strike rate of 101.59. His stats are quite remarkable, featuring 21 centuries and 20 half-centuries. What sets Gaikwad apart is his knack for pacing an innings and ramping up the tempo when it counts, making him a solid candidate for the No. 3 spot. His recent century for India A in the Tri-Nation Series has only underscored his readiness to take on greater challenges.

3. Nitish Kumar Reddy

India has been on the lookout for dependable pace-bowling all-rounders for quite some time, and Nitish Kumar Reddy is stepping up as a promising candidate. In his 33 List A matches, he has racked up 679 runs with an average of 35.74 and a strike rate of 98.69, while also taking 21 wickets. His knack for making contributions in both batting and bowling adds a valuable layer of balance to the team. With his aggressive batting style and handy medium-fast bowling, Reddy is shaping up to be a solid choice as India explores its future all-rounder options.

 

4. Harshit Rana

Harshit Rana has rapidly emerged as one of India’s most exciting fast-bowling talents. In List A cricket, he boasts impressive stats with 63 wickets at an average of 23.98 and an economy rate of 5.77. He’s already made a mark on the international stage, claiming 26 wickets in just 14 ODI matches. What sets Rana apart is his knack for delivering under pressure, along with his handy contributions with the bat lower down the order, which only adds to his worth. With Mohammed Shami facing some fitness hurdles, Rana’s development presents India with a crucial pace option for the future.
