The cricketing fraternity has endured the loss of yet another cricketing icon as Ben Stokes announced his retirement from all forms of cricket with immediate effect. The England captain declared his retirement to his teammates during the Day 4 of the deciding test against England at Trent Bridge.
In the midday of the penultimate day of the final test of the series, Stokes told an emotional dressing room: "I've had many trips to the well before for this team, for you blokes and I've got one more trip to do."
