The Gujarat Titans would be locking horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Match 42 of IPL at Narendra Modi Stadium on 30th April 2026. GT after two consecutive losses won their last game against Chennai Super Kings. The two highlights for them in the game was Kagiso Rabada’s fiery spell in powerplay that dismantled CSK batting display and Sai Sudarshan’s prowess with the willow scoring an excellent 87. Currently GT are fifth in the points table with 4 wins and 4 losses, with this game they will be looking forward to keep the winning momentum and also trying to make a way for the playoffs.
On the other hand RCB beat Delhi Capitals by 9 wickets in last game. At first DC fumbled in front of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Joh Hazlewood’s fiery spell that saw them with the lowest powerplay score in history of IPL - 13/6. Eventually DC was bowled out at 75 and RCB easily chased that total down with more than 80 balls remaining still.
RCB and GT had actually met a week before on April 24. GT put up 205/3 on the boards for RCB to chase with Sai Sudarshan scoring a blistering century. Although RCB had a mini collapse at the end but chase master Virat Kohli’s 81 off 44 ball and Devdutt Padikkal’s 55 off 27 balls and a little cameo by Krunal Pandya at the end made them victorious at Chinnaswamy against GT.
