The great man Virat Kohli is rightly considered a sporting icon. And that’s not just down to his cricketing achievements that are taller like the great Eiffel Tower and mesmerising like a captivating monsoon season at a picturesque mountain setting that you simply can’t get enough of. In truth, Kohli has been quite the man who encourages and a constant guide and motivator of youngsters, many of whom claim to have learnt a lot by simply watching him play and conduct himself in the dressing room whilst in midst of cricketing action.

The legendary right handed batter from India has always had a thing or two of kind, positive insights to offer those who are about to begin or at the very stages of their careers and his entire work ethic and sheer discipline for the game strikes the right chords for those in attendance or those watching.

And while we’ve already heard plenty of great praise on Kohli from the likes of his India colleagues such as KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Devdutt Paddikal among the others, there are also those who come from other nations of cricketing sections who admired Virat Kohli and I’ve always had word of positive to speak about the dominant Indian legend.

One of those young cricketer, who to spend some time with Virat Kohli and had some positive observations to tell was none other than emerging England cricketer Jordan Cox. It was widely covered in the media very recently when the two got together in London to spend some time, and Virat Kohli was able to exchange some cricketing ideas and insights with the talented young batter in the English team.

Having played just 1 Test, 3 ODIs and 6 T20Is for England, young Cox, who’s just 25 years of age has an entire career ahead of him. And it’s important for players like him to get the kind of positive guidance that they can get from the likes of Virat Kohli.

So the following is what Kent-born talent had to say about the great cricketing icon born in New Delhi:

“Virat Kohli is one of the nicest guys you will meet. He's such a great bloke. He's always helpful when I need".

Interestingly, while Jordan Cox did not actually make his IPL debut yet. The two also spend time together back with Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL.
