Kumar Sangakkara has come out strongly in support of Riyan Parag during IPL 2026, saying the young batter is still the right person to lead Rajasthan Royals.

However, Sangakkara made it clear that the franchise fully trusts the youngster and believes he can grow into a successful captain in the future.
