In becoming the very first team to qualify for the next and decisive stage of the IPL in 2026, the RCB camp are a powerful, consistent and splendid unit. Aren’t they? As a matter of fact, the Bengaluru side became the very first team out of the 10 teams this year to make it to the play-off stage, which is where the business will get serious, and the competition level will become even more exciting and fierce. Isn’t it? But given their dominant form and the constant ways of winning, the die hard fans will be rightfully thinking (rather hoping) that the road might be tougher, but RCB’s familiar positive performances will follow. And what actually adds further to the consistent flurry of form marked by amazing wins of the RCB is a very fact that it’s all about team balance.

Whilst surely they have with them the great icon of batting- Virat Kohli- a name that needs no introduction, but to say that it is only batting which is winning them the contests would be to miss the story rather to present the story in a raw unfinished form.

Truth also is that the Royal Challengers Bangalore have in their services to amazing Fast bowlers, both high-quality, both consistent, and both experiences in the game that have been able to top the most challenging consistent and excellent matters out there who confront the RCB bowling attack. Fell on the one hand, they have Bhubaneswar Kumar name that needs to introduction the most successful fast bowler out there in IPL. Someone who stands at the pinnacle. And then there is in the very same side a certain Josh Hazelwood.

Together, the two have been responsible for some amazing wickets and some game changing bowling spells that I’ve got RCB as far as they have come.

That being said, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who happens to be the numero uno name on the 2026 Purple Cap’s tally found rich praise from his bowling partner, Hazlewood. The lanky Australian underlined the fact that Kumar brings a lot of difference and adds to the match winning prowess of the team, an important element that has held the side in good stead up to this point.

So the big question is what did Hazlwood share on Kumar?

Here is what you need to know-

“Really lucky to have him (Bhuvneshwar Kumar) in our team. He keeps the run rate down and picks crucial wickets”.

Such good praise, isn’t it, and so richly deserved on the part of a man who himself doesn’t speak much but depends on his bowling prowess to win games for his side.
