
In the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) game between Rawalpindiz and Islamabad United, a huge heated argument broke out between Rawalpindiz Fast bowler Mohammad Amir and Islamabad all-rounder Faheen Ashraf. Faheem Ashraf was seen pointing his bat towards Amir after being dismissed by the fast bowler and Amir was seen pointing towards him asking him to leave the 22 yards.
On the 17th over third ball Amir bowled a slow bouncer, Faheem attended an upper cut but he edged it to wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan. After the catch was taken, Amir celebrated and had a few heated exchanges with Faheem. While returning to pavilion Faheem was seen agitated and pointed his bat to Amir to which Amir responded with hand gestures to leave. Asif Afridi and Saad Masood were quick enough to step in and move the players away from each other to avoid any physical fight.

Faheem Ashraf said “You are a cheater” to Mohammad Amir on field
After Amir dismissed Faheem Ashraf on 17th over, he celebrated aggressively and started abusing strongly. Faheem did not take it lightly and was infuriated, leading to saying to Amir, “You are a cheater, you betrayed your country, don’t talk too much,” pointing his bat towards the bowler. Amir responded to it saying, “Get lost from here, I’ve already dismissed you.” After that Faheem got more aggressive and both teams stepped in to neutralize the fight.

Rawalpindiz won the toss in today’s match and chose to bowl first and they were good at it as Islamabad crumbled at 20 overs with only 137 runs on board. Devon Conway and Sameer Minhas couldn’t utilize powerplay and rather had a slow start. Naseem Shah took wickets in powerplay of Mohammad faiq and Saad Masood took wickets of Shadab Khan for 1 run leaving Islamabad in grave danger at 30/3.
When Amir got Faheem Ashraf out, Islamabad was at 99/7. Only Chris Green's 29 off 16 was able to take them past 100 in the first innings. Although they played well this match but Rawalpindiz are out of PSL on losing 8 matches in a row whereas Islamabad United are in the third spot in PSL table.
