Bhuvneshwar Kumar started things off by dismissing debutant Sahil Parakh in just his second ball of the over. Hazlewood continued to impress from the other end as he picked up the big wicket of KL Rahul and also dismissed Sameer Rizvi as Delhi lost three wickets in the first two overs of the game. Bhuvneshwar Kumar in his second over picked up two wickets as he dismissed Tristan Stubbs and then Axar Patel. It was a dream spell for the right arm pacer and with those three wickets in the power play he broke a record held by Trent Boult.

The swing king has been lethal with the new ball and he continued to prove that he still has the tools as he picked up three wickets to dent the Delhi Capitals batting unit.
