Sanju Samson has scored an unbeaten hundred against MI today to single-handedly take CSK to 207 on the board. This is his second hundred of the season for CSK. Samson fumbled with his form in the beginning with CSK, but ever since his first century with CSK, Sanju seems to have turned back the clock on his red-hot form from the T20 World Cup Campaign 2026. CSK batsmen once again fumbled tonight at Wankhede with a mini collapse, but Sanju as a saviour stood tall with his willow, scoring an unbeaten 101 off 54 balls, with this Sanju becomes the 9th batter to have multiple centuries in a single IPL season.
The Indian batsman has joined the elite list that has names like Virat Kohli, Shane Watson, Chris Gayle, Jos Buttler, etc. This is also his 5th IPL century, which equals him with Indian wicket-keeper batsman KL Rahul as joint second; Virat Kohli still tops the chart with eight total IPL centuries. After Shane Watson, Murali Vijay and Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sanju Samson is the fourth CSK batsman to have scored multiple centuries in a single season in IPL.
