Krunal Pandya and Nicholas Pooran had a couple of moments in yesterdayâs game between the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and the Lucknow Super Giants. The intense moments shared between the players caught the attention of the fans and the commentators. After the match, Pooran was seen to be being a bit aggressive with Krunal Pandya while pulling his shirt. Things still remain unclear if it was serious or not as they did share the dressing room at LSG. There wasnât anything in the past to suggest that the two might share some friction or it could be the beginning of a new rivalry.
During the 1st innings of the game, Rajat Patidar introduced Krunal Pandya into the attack with Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Pooran looking in fine touch. Krunal has been known for his variations as people are considering him more as just a bowler rather than a spinner. It was a gamble by RCB considering the matchup Nicholas Pooran has against spin. Krunal bowled a bouncer at him and he just nudged it around for a single. But after that things got heated between the two and they got close to each other, exchanging a couple of words.

Mitchell Marshâs century and Prince Yadavâs fiery spell powered LSG to a crucial win against RCB
The Lucknow Super Giants found a way to end their losing streak as Mitchell Marsh scored a fabulous century in the first innings of the match. He was well supported by Nicholas Pooran and Rishabh Pant at the other end as they helped their side get to a total of 209 after the 19 overs. Prince Yadav led the bowling attack from the front as he dismissed Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal in the innings. RCB got close to the total with the help of fine knocks from Rajat Patidar and Tim David, but they felt agonizingly short at the end. The home side won the game by 9 runs to keep their hopes hanging by a thread to qualify for the playoffs.
As the Lucknow Super Giants have gotten a start with this victory, they will be willing to give it their all to find a way to make it to the top 4. Their victories would most likely haunt the playoff chances of the teams at the middle of the table and the race to the top is getting intensified.
