Pakistan’s performance in international Test match cricket has been, at best, humiliatingly bad. And something’s just not right for the visiting team that’s currently finding itself being thrashed to all parks of the ground in England. It could be said in some sense that their most recent win in an away Test against the West Indies in the Caribbean was the only time where the team under Babar Azam looked promising, which was surprising given how strong the West Indians looked at that time. But in the present, it’s all to forget where the waning fortunes of Pakistan are concerned in Test cricket.
After finding themselves thrashed by a margin of an innings and 103 runs at Headingley, Leeds, one had expected a stronger return from Pakistan in the ongoing second test match.
However, in reality, it’s been one disappointing performance to another as the venues changing having brought about any change in the waning fortunes of a seemingly despondent Pakistan team as they are again staring at a loss in the current Test at Lord’s.
Why’s that?
In their first innings, Pakistan managed to be bowled out for 110.
So desperate are these current times of the visiting side that their white ball coach, Mike Hesson had apparently been rushed to the country where the team are being currently battered: England.

A white ball coach has been rushed to rescue a jaded and sorry looking Test match unit. That’s even if England in their second innings are 87-4 at the moment but with their lead up by over 250 runs.

Hesson's announced arrival comes at a challenging period for the Pakistan Test team. The batters have had trouble spending time in the crease, with several dismissed cheaply against England's fast bowlers.
Imam was replaced by Shan Masood, who scored a frustrating single before edging behind. Abdullah Shafique was also struck on the hand by a short delivery while Babar Azam, back after missing the first test through injury, managed only eight.
Who knows what will happen ahead for Pakistan. These are clearly desperate times for the out of form side.
