The Pakistan cricket team has lodged a complaint with match referee Neeyamur Rashid regarding an incident that took place in the last over of the third ODI match between Pakistan and Bangladesh. This incident happened in the fourth ball of the last over when umpire Kumar Dharamsena allowed Bangladesh to review a decision and, in the end, the wide call was overturned and it bypassed standard protocol. As per reports Pakistan team management believe that Bangladesh took the review after a replay of the delivery came up on the big screen and as a result this issue came up with the match referee after the game and they have lodged a complaint of the same.

Chasing a target of 291, Pakistan needed 12 runs to win off the last two balls and Rishad Hossain bowled a ball down leg which was called as a wide by the umpire. There is no rule to review a wide call so Bangladesh appealed for a lbw and the decision was sent upstairs. The replays showed a faint nick on the ultra edge and the wide call was reversed by the umpire.

It was a closely fought game with Bangladesh holding their nerve to secure a 11 run win and in that process they have also won the series 2-1.
