Lucknow Super Giants skipper Rishabh Pant was involved in a bizarre interaction with commentator and broadcaster Ian Bishop during the toss. The Pant-led side travelled to the Pink City, Jaipur, to lock horns with the Rajasthan Royals in one of the last league-stage games of the season on Tuesday, May 19. While the Royals were entering the clash on the back of a three-game losing skid, the Super Giants came off a seven-wicket win over the Chennai Super Kings.
In a must-win game for the hosts, RR’s stand-in skipper Yashasvi Jaiswal won the toss and invited the rivals to put the score on the board first. However, visiting skipper Rishabh Pant, found himself in the middle of a bizarre interaction with commentator Bishop. The cricketer-turned-commentator wanted to know about the status of star bowler Mohammed Shami, but it seemed that Pant had his own brain-fade moment, and he shared updates about everyone but the bowler.
