One of the legends of Indian cricket, Rohit Sharma has a record that makes him one of the all time great Indian batters. He has a stellar record especially in the One Day Format and has a stunning record in the ODI format. Rohit has been the best opener in the white ball format for India over the last decade and a half. He became the oldest male player to represent Team India during the first ODI match against Afghanistan. Rohit Sharma has in the past said that he is keen to represent India in the 2027 World Cup but with age not on his side and considering his recent form it looks difficult.

Multiple sources claim that Rohit Sharma is not in the plan for the upcoming 2027 World Cup and that the third ODI against Afghanistan will be his farewell game. Watch the video here.
