The excitement at Wimbledon 2026 is at an all-time high as we are in the semi-final stages on Day 12 of the Championships. It was a packed crowd at the All England Club, Centre Court as action got underway with Alexander Zverev taking on British wildcard Arthur Fery in the first semi-final. Attention then turned to the day's headline clash as world number one Jannik Sinner faced seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic. 

Off the court, the Royal Box and VIP hospitality areas once again welcomed a host of royals, celebrities, and sporting stars, all turning out for one of the biggest days of the Championships. Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar made his presence felt as he received plenty of cheers when he was shown on the big screen. West Indies legend Brian Lara was also in attendance for the semi-finals.

Other celebrities included Netherlands football captain Virgil van Dijk, who was also part of the audience. Virgil was recently part of the FIFA World Cup 2026, where he led the Netherlands. After getting eliminated, Virgil made sure to attend the semi-final at Wimbledon. From the world of entertainment, Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter were among those to attend on Friday. Sophie looked stunning in a vibrant lime-green floral midi dress and round shades, while Benedict opted for a light grey suit paired with a complementary blue tie.

Alexander Zverev beat Arthur Fery in the first semi-final of Wimbledon 2026 in front of a packed crowd at Centre Court. Some of the biggest names from the worlds of sports and entertainment made their presence felt at the All England Club. Attention will now turn to Novak Djokovic, who will be up against world number one Jannik Sinner.
