Sanju Samson has shared a heartfelt gratitude message to fans after his terrific knock against West Indies. In a virtual quarter-final between India and West Indies, it was Sanju Samson who batted through the innings and remained unbeaten as he smashed 97* to take his side home. India qualified for the semi-final by chasing a target which was their highest successful ever run chase in the history of T20 World Cups.

Sanju Samson was the player of the match and since March 1 he has been the talking point on the internet. He has been getting an outpour of love from fans and supporters and there is plenty of praise on social media. Sanju Samson put out a heartfelt message and acknowledged the love shown by Indian fans.

Sanju Samson has one of the biggest fan bases in India, especially in Kerala and now in Tamil Nadu. During the game against Zimbabwe, when Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav told that Samson was playing there was a huge roar from the fans. So, it is clear that he enjoys good support. In the recent game against South Africa in Thiruvananthapuram, Samson was treated like a VIP outside the airport as fans rushed in to witness their star. India will hope Samson can step up and do it again in Mumbai when India takes on England.
