During the PBKS vs MI clash today at Wankhede, Shashank Singh was hit by a ball after a fierce throw by skipper Shreyas Iyer. Shashank was hit while backing up a throw on the final ball of the 6th over (the end of the Powerplay). Replays indicated he misjudged a bad bounce, causing the ball to strike him directly on the head.The team physio attended to him on the field with an ice pack.
