
Rajasthan Royals star Shimron Heytmeyr pulled off a stunning catch to end Krunal Pandya’s innings in RR vs RCB IPL 2026. The Royals were up against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 16th game of the T20 tournament on Friday, April 10. The Royals skipper Riyan Parag, won the toss in the rain-affected game, and invited the rivals to bat first. The defending-champions, who have remained undefeated in the league thus far, were aiming to take dominance of the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati. However, things didn’t go as planned for the Royal Challengers, and they kept losing wickets one after the other.
On the second ball of the seventh wicket, Shimron Hetmyer pulled off a diving catch to end Krunal Pandya’s innings. The Windies International dived forward and caught a screamer inches adobe the ground. Pandya was sent back off one run in six deliveries.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru reduced to 93-5 within no time
The Royal Challengers Bengaluru got off to a horrible start against the RR in a rain-affected game. Opener Philip Salt was sent back on a duck off a Jofra Archer, while former skipper Virat Kohli came up with 32 runs off 16 balls. Devdutt Padikkal scored 14 runs off seven balls, whereas Krunal Pandya managed to put one run to the scoreboard. Apart from them, Jitesh Sharma and Tim David managed to score five runs and 13 runs, respectively.
As of writing, RCB were batting at 105 runs off six wickets by the end of 12 overs.
