The pre wedding celebrations of Sachin Tendulkar’s son, Arjun Tendulkar took place with much gusto and verve most recently. It’s the sort of story that brings into highlight cricketing events, which aren’t exactly cricketing in nature, but related to cricket celebs and personalities that attract much focus and attention. Arjun Tendulkar, who’s most noted for being trained by star all rounder Yuvraj Singh’s father and for having for IPL’s famous Mumbai Indians franchise got engaged recently.
The son of cricketing demigod and one of the most influential and incredible talents to have ever embraced the game, Tendulkar jr. got engaged to Mumbai-based entrepreneur Saaniya Chandhok. But the show stealer, if one might put it that way, in the entire pre wedding ceremony, was none other than star Indian talent Shubman Gill.
Long linked with Arjun Tendulkar’s sister, Sara, hence, the great Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter, Shubman Gill has garnered attention not just for his destructive form in an Indian jersey, but for the alleged romantic entanglement with the “God of batting’s” daughter.
His dance moves, smooth and groovy, were the talk of the town as seen recently in Arjun Tendulkar’s pre wedding bash.
Dressed handsomely in a bespoke suit, Shunman Gill, the captain of the side in the Test format (someone who’s not actually playing the T20 World Cup having not been selected earlier for the checkered ICC event), made headlines on social media for his antics.
Several social media reels, especially on Instagram can be seen centred around Shubman Gill dancing to famous Punjabi and dance beats and similar numbers where he’s around a crowd of guests who are enjoying in his dazzling company.
On the other hand, Arjun Tendulkar, who was the main spotlight maker for the event being his own pre wedding bash was in a jovial mood. His cricketing career, however, does need an overhaul and a fresh new start. Despite the evident fast bowling talent, Tendulkar, who we have to remember has grown up under the looming giant shadow of an iconic father, has found it particularly hard to find a long consistent run in any outfit of reverence as seen.
That’s when he is not short on domestic cricket experience.
