The 2026 T20 Blast, also known as Vitality Blast, will be the 24th edition of the tournament, a professional T20 cricket league played in England and Wales. The tournament is scheduled to run from 26 May to 18 July 2026.

Every county hosts six home games at its primary ground. Additionally, some counties use outgrounds like Blackpool, Chesterfield, and Richmond for select fixtures. The 2026 edition introduced a new format, with teams divided into four regional groups – North, South, Central and West – each consisting of six counties. Each side will play 12 group-stage matches as part of the structure.

Lancashire’s move to Blackpool for certain fixtures in 2026 is specifically because the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup occupies Emirates Old Trafford during June. Edgbaston, Trent Bridge and Old Trafford are the top venues that attract crowds from home and away opposition in flocks.

In 2025, Somerset beat Lancashire Lighting by 23 runs in the first semi-final. In the second semi-final, Hampshire Hawks defeated the Steelbacks by 6 wickets. In the final, finally, Somerset beat Hampshire by 6 wickets to win their third title.
