During the game between the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Kolkata Knight Riders, Virat Kohli celebrated his first run of the innings after he was dismissed for two consecutive ducks. This reminded the fans of a similar celebration that Virat Kohli pulled out when he scored his first run of the ODI series against Australia after two consecutive ducks in the first two games.

It is indeed a hilarious reaction to have for a player of his stature to celebrate a run taken like he has scored a half-century or a century.
Virat Kohli had a tough outing in the last two games against Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians. While facing Prince Yadav in the second over of the game against Lucknow Super Giants, he got the ball to shape brilliantly to uproot the off stump. While people praised Prince Yadav for his perfect execution, Virat Kohli’s dismissal against Mumbai Indians was rather a cheap one. He will be happy that he has broken the deadlock and now he could be in for a long innings.

RCB bowlers restrict KKR to below 200 as Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal lead the run chase
The Royal Challengers Bengaluru have done a decent job with the ball to limit the Kolkata Knight Riders to 192 after the 20 overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar did an excellent job to get rid of the dangerous Finn Allen early on in the game and shortly after, the KKR skipper was back in the hut as well. Angkrish Raghuvanshi scored a brilliant half-century and was well supported by Cameron Green at the other end. Rinku Singh provided some crucial runs at the back end of the innings with some quick running between the wickets and boundaries. A 200+ score was well on the cards for KKR, but the RCB bowling unit managed to curb the flow of runs at the death.
Jacob Bethell and Virat Kohli have put on some early pressure on the KKR bowling unit with some good power-hitting. Considering the recent batting collapses that RCB has faced, they will be hoping to overcome the loss of Jacob Bethell with some sensible batting. Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli have been solid in terms of their batting and they can very well carry on for a longer period of time to keep RCB in a comfortable position. However, if KKR need to get back into the game, they shouldn’t just keep the economy low but they should be able to break any developing partnership with quick wickets.
