The Day 1 of 1st Test between India and Sri Lanka in Mohali produced an action-packed day for fans. From Rohit Sharma’s small cameo to kick off the innings to Hanuma Vihari’s solid fifty, from Virat Kohli playing an impressive knock on his 100th Test to Lasith Embuldeniya spoiling the party with a magical delivery, it was perfect exhibition of red-ball cricket on Friday.
On a day when there were some new things for everyone to see, like India’s new No. 3 and No. 5, there were couple of things which remained the same – Pant’s actions on and off the field!
Pant pulls off another prank in dressing room
The young wicketkeeper batter is known for his pranks in the dressing room and the latest victim of the same is India’s Team Analyst Hari Prasad Mohan. In of the footage which has gone viral, Pant can be seen playing around with the analyst where he seemingly squeezed an orange peel into the eyes of Mr. Hari.
Although head coach Rahul Dravid and batting coach Vikram Rathour watched without giving any reaction, Pant seemed to have really enjoyed the moment as he was captured having a big cheeky smile on his face following his actions.

Just like he continued to do his normal stuff off the field, the same was at display in the middle as well. Pant wreaked havoc against Sri Lankan bowlers when he came to bat as he played an explosive knock in Mohali, scoring 96 off 97 balls as India’s score read 357/6 at Stumps.
