The Mumbai Indians star player Rohit Sharma was seen to be engaging in a hilarious moment when he was mocking Shardul Thakur in the gym while pulling weights. The cricketer is known for his hilarious comic timing on and off the field. Rohit Sharma has missed quite a few matches due to the injury that he had sustained in the game against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Wankhede. There is still no confirmation regarding his availability in the coming games as his recovery time period hasn’t been mentioned yet. The Mumbai Indians have been struggling for form in this edition of the IPL and the absence of Rohit Sharma has been reflected in the results for the side.
Hardik Pandya and his men have won just two games in the season so far and their struggles have been endless. They started the season with a bang as they chased down a massive total against the Kolkata Knight Riders. Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton were a tremendous opening pair in the game and they were instrumental in the victory. There are no signs of hope as of now as they suffered a humiliating loss against the Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede.

Mumbai Indians struggle for consistency as batting woes continue ahead of Sunrisers Hyderabad clash
The Mumbai Indians have had their struggles in the season with their batting form predominantly. The inclusion of Danish Malewar in their squad hasn’t clicked off yet as the youngster hasn’t got to a solid start yet. Suryakumar Yadav has been one of their most strongest pillars in their batting unit and his poor run of form has affected them negatively. Tilak Varma had a breakout innings against the Gujarat Titans with a crucial century but he wasn’t able to carry it forward in the game against Chennai Super Kings. Hardik Pandya hasn’t been able to play the explosive knocks that he is capable of and they are not getting the strong finishes they used to get.
Jasprit Bumrah has been finding his form back in the IPL as after a long wicketless run, he finally broke the shackles against the Gujarat Titans. Mitchell Santner did have a couple of good bowling spells but he has also been ruled out of the season due to injury. Ashwani Kumar announced himself in the game against the Gujarat Titans with an impactful 4-wicket haul. The injury of Mitchell Santner could pave the way for the arrival of Will Jacks into that foreign player slot. The Mumbai Indians will be taking on the Sunrisers Hyderabad tomorrow and it will be a challenging encounter for Mumbai. Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan have been in fine batting form and to stop them, it will be a huge task for the Mumbai Indians.
