Sam Curran is a talented all-rounder who has done some special things in all departments in his career. In the opening match of the ILT20 between Desert Vipers and Dubai Capitals he did something special which has gone viral on social media.
Sam Curran was bowling against Gulbadin Naib in the fourth over when the batter managed to smack one straight to Sam Curran. The bowler only happened to put his hands near the trajectory of the ball but managed to get the catch and dismiss the dangerous batter. Sam Curran after taking the catch of his own bowling dismissing the batter for a duck.
After taking the catch, Sam Curran did the muscle flex celebration in front of Gulbadin Naib himself who is known for that celebration across the world. This clip has gone viral in social media and fans are impressed by the effort of Sam Curran with plenty of comments pouring in as soon as the video was shared by the official handle. Desert Vipers beat Dubai Capitals by four wickets in the opening match with Gous being the player of the match. Dubai Capitals scored 150 while batting first and it probed it be a below par score as Desert Vipers chased it down with an over to spare. Sam Curran finished with figures of 1/28 in his four overs which includes the special catch that he took of his own bowling. He also scored seven runs with the bat and is leading the Dessert Vipers side for this season. It is safe to say Sam Curran with his captaincy, batting, bowling and fielding has had a good start to the tournament. Desert Vipers will be playing their next match on Friday against Abu Dhabi Knight Riders at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
