Group C leaders and title favourites West Indies will host Nepal at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in the first game on Sunday. The Caribbean boys have been one of the most entertaining sides to watch at the World Cup and have picked up three wins in as many matches, including a win over England. While they have almost confirmed their qualification for the Super 8, a win over Nepal will seal their top spot and will give them the world of confidence.
Nepal on the contrary have been on the receiving end of unlucky results. A close defeat to England was followed by a defeat to Italy a few days back. It’s a do-or-die situation for Nepal who know what it takes to defeat the West Indies. Since it’s a day game, whoever wins the toss should choose to bat first at the Wankhede Stadium. These two sides have met thrice before in the T20I format and Nepal have two wins to show for their efforts while West Indies have just one win. Can Nepal maintain their dominance or will the Windies settle scores? Let us find out on Sunday.
