VijayKumar Vyshak was born in 31st January 1997, and he plays for Karnataka in domestic cricket and Punjab Kings currently in IPL.

He made his List A debut on 24 February 2021, for Karnataka in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2020-2021 and his T20 debut on 5 November 2021, for Karnataka in the 2021-2022 Syed Mustaq Ali Trophy. He made his first class debut debut on 17 February 2022, for Karnataka in the 2021-2022 Ranji Trophy.

He was an overweight kid, but was well transformed by Bharat Arun, who leveraged his skills, and he got in the RCB squad as a replacement for Rajat Patidar in 2023.

He is an Indian right-arm medium-fast bowler known for his variations and cutters, and definitely his prowess to excel in death overs. His domestic brilliance gave him a maiden call-up from the Indian Cricket Team T20I series against the Proteas in 2024.

His IPL debut made him popular when he took a career-best figure of 3/20 playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Delhi Capitals. After he was released in the 2025 mega auction, the Punjab Kings acquired him for 1.80 Crores.

In 2025, coming as an impact sub, he produced a great spell in death overs against the Gujarat Titans, emerging PBKS as the match winner. He was retained by the Punjab Kings in 2026, showing faith as their vital pace battery.
