The BGMI transfer season is now officially live, and the massive movement has already started happening. Another big news is coming from the Revenant XSpark (RNTX), where their captain, Ashutosh Singh, aka PUNK, and Shubham Sahoo, aka NinjaJOD, are set to leave the team after disappointing results in the BGIS 2026 in Chennai.
Punk and NinjaJoD to leave Revenant XSpark - Reports
According to the reports, PUNK and NinjaJOD are all set to leave Revenant XSpark ahead of the BGMI Pro Series 2026. Further reports suggest that RNTX is already in search of a new IGL and that their two title-winning captains in 2024, Shadow, might return under the RNTX banner.
Punk joined Revenant XSpark in November 2025, and BGIS 2026 was his first major tournament with the team, where he secured 7th place.
This was a shocking decision by the organization to let go of their captain, as Punk is currently one of the most experienced captains in the Indian gaming community and has secured many podiums in official events like BGIS 2025 and BMPS 2024 with Godlike Esports.
Additionally, NinjaJOD is also a shocking release by the Revenant XSpark, if the reports are true. NinjaJOD is regarded as one of the best assaulters in BGMI esports in India, who has been so consistent for a very long time. However, his performance was mid in the recently concluded BGIS 2026.
