The Free Fire World Cup 2026 is just a few days away, and Indian fans have plenty of reasons to be excited. Free Fire World Cup 2026 Dates and Prize Pool

The Free Fire World Cup 2026 will take place from 15 July to 18 July in Paris, France. Although the tournament lasts only four days, it is one of the biggest Free Fire events of the year.

A total of 24 teams from different regions will compete for a $1 million USD (around ₹8.5 crore) prize pool and the Free Fire World Cup trophy.

Free Fire World Cup 2026 Format

The tournament is divided into three stages: Group Stage, Survival Stage, and Grand Finals.

Group Stage (15-16 July)

The 24 teams will be divided into two groups of 12 teams. Each group will play 12 matches. Top 4 teams from each group qualify directly for the Grand Finals. Teams finishing 5th to 10th move to the Survival Stage. The bottom two teams from each group are eliminated from the tournament.

Survival Stage (17 July)

The Survival Stage will feature 12 teams that finished between 5th and 10th in the Group Stage.

These teams will play 10 matches, and only the top four teams in the overall standings will qualify for the Grand Finals. The remaining teams will be eliminated.

Grand Finals (18 July)

The Grand Finals will feature 12 teams, eight teams from the Group Stage and four teams from the Survival Stage.

The finals will use the Champion Rush format. Teams first need to reach 80 points to become Champion Rush eligible. Once eligible, they must win a Booyah to become the tournament champion. If no eligible team wins a Booyah after 10 matches, the team with the highest overall points will be crowned the champion.

Indian Teams at FFWC 2026

India will be represented by three teams:

  • Team Apex Gaming - Qualified after winning FFMIC 2026 Spring.

  • S8UL - Qualified after finishing as the runner-up in FFMIC 2026 Spring.

  • Total Gaming Esports - Qualified after securing third place in the same tournament.

The three teams have recently gained international experience and have reportedly been practicing against top global teams using the Free Fire Global version. While the competition will be tough, Indian fans will be hoping for a strong performance.

Apart from the Indian teams, several top organizations will compete in the tournament, including, EVOS Divine, AG.AL, RRQ Kazu, Team Secret, Fluxo W7M, Team Falcons, Buriram United, LOUD, and Team Vitality.
