PUBG Mobile 4.4 update is set to release soon. The beta of the update has revealed some exciting gameplay features along with major weapon balance changes. PUBG Mobile 4.4 Update: Firearm & Item Adjustments
Balance Adjustments:
Sniper Rifles (Enhanced):

Shotguns (Weakened):

Assault Rifles (Adjusted):

Higher damage at close to medium range, but lower damage at medium to long range (M16A4 and Mk47 are unaffected).
Panzerfaust (Adjusted):

Increased explosion range (lethal range unchanged), but reduced backblast damage and range.

How to Obtain: Rarely found on the ground, chance to obtain from air drops, or purchased from an in-match supply shop.
JS9: Added to Classic Mode maps as ground loot.
System Update
Improved Backpack Item Sorting: Items in the Backpack are now sorted, with identical items grouped together.
Improved Attachment Icons: Icons for some attachments (Muzzle Brake, Ergonomic Foregrip, Mini Drum Mag, Barrel Extender) have been improved to better match the theme.
PUBG Mobile 4.4 Update to release in May 2026
Based on the recent release pattern of PUBG Mobile, the developers drop the major update in a gap of 2 months. The last 4.3 update was released in March 2026, and now the PUBG Mobile 4.4 update is set to release in May 2026.
The developers haven't revealed the exact release date yet, but gamers can expect it between the 3 to 16 May 2026.
