PUBG Mobile Esports Announces 5 International Slots for India in PMWC and PMGC 2026
PUBG Mobile Esports announces 5 international slots for India in 2026, 2 slots in PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2026, and 3 possible slots in PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2026.
2 Indian teams will compete in the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026
PUBG Mobile Esports has doubled India’s slots in the PMWC 2026. Initially, Krafton India had confirmed only one slot for the BMPS 2026 winner, like last year, but now PUBG Mobile has increased the Indian slots to 2. These are the direct slots for India, which means we will see two Indian teams play in the World Cup 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 6 to 16 August.
3 slots in PMGC 2026
India will fight for 3 slots in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2026. The region gets the 1 direct slot in the tournament, while for the remaining 2 slots, Indian teams will have to compete along with South Korean and Japanese teams.
Last year 3 Indian teams competed in the international events. Team AryanxTeam, the BMPS 2025 champion, played in the PUBG Mobile World Cup in Riyadh, and Orangutan and True Rippers competed in the PMGC 2025. This year, India has a chance to secure 5 slots. All four BGMI tournaments, including BGIS 2026, BMPS 2026, BMSD 2026, and BMIC 2026, will be crucial for teams to get these slots.
